Join a Kindermusik Village class with your baby or young toddler and discover the wonders of music in a learning experience filled with fun laughter and age appropriate activities for your child. In every class your child will learn and develop their language skills, literacy, listening and problem solving. Their social skills will grow as will their self esteem. This will all happen in a loving environment filled with music, dancing and lots of play.
A large part of our philosophy at Kindermusik is that the parents are their child's most important teacher. Our class includes take home packages which are of the highest quality and will help you to nurture your child's development at home. These take home packages include the highest quality CD's, creative activities and beautifully illustrated books. Your child will also receive specially designed instruments to complement the Kindermusik Programme.
Village Class are for children from birth to eighteen months old. Each class is designed with the developmental abilities of this age group in mind. Each class works towards growing your child's musical understanding as well as development through every part of the child's world.
Our classes are designed to take your child from birth and nurture them through the first seven years so that they are ready for the more formal class in your music teacher's studio. Anna is also a qualified music teacher and is able to provide an ongoing relationship with your child from birth right through their musical education. This means a child is able to form a long term relationship that will benefit them through the school years. "Creating musical children" is Anna's passion.

Kindermusik "Our Time" programme is especially designed with the child of eighteen months to three in mind. "Our Time" encourages your child to engage in a musical world whilst growing in confidence and self esteem. Your child's co-ordination will grow as will his or her language and social skills. Parents are important and an integral part of Our Time classes which run for 45 minutes each week. The classes involve singing, listening, playing simple instruments, movement and a discovery of the wonderful world of music. Exploration Time encourages a child's discovery of specially designed instruments, textures sounds and movements. Music and Movement Story times encourages language skills whilst movement and dance understands the toddler's need to move.
A unique part of Kindermusik is parent education. Each week parents learn about their child's development through FOL's (Foundation of Learning) given by the educator. Each family also receives an At Home Pack designed to continue what is being learnt at "Our Time" at home. The BENEFITS of these classes are the opportunity for your child to grow musically and the building of self confidence, curiosity, self expression and social skills.

"Imagine That" class will take you and your three to five year old on a magical musical journey exploring play activities intertwined with music, vocal development, story telling and movement and growing in language and literacy. What more could a parent ask for in a music programme?
Another BENEFIT of "Imagine That" are the At Home materials you will receive to build music in your home all week long with your child. These activities along with the class will nurture your child's creativity and create a learning environment rich in musical learning. The benefits will also include increased confidence, plenty of opportunities to grow socially, language and emotional development and a love of music which can then be transferred into learning a musical instrument as the grow a little older.
Kindermusik Image That classes are designed for your energetic active pre-school child. Parent are invited to join in the last 15 minutes of class for Sharing Time. The class runs for 45 minutes each week.

Kindermusik For The Young Child provides developmentally classes for your child aged five to seven. These are a great way to prepare your child for more formal music lessons with a private teacher. The Kindermusik class is pressure free and designed to teach your child basic rhythm, notation, musical symbols, vocal development and the opportunity for your child to try various instruments in class.
Young Child Classes will help your child gain confidence in singing and speaks as well as learning the basic building blocks for music development. The At Home materials provide for ongoing support and learning at home. The attractive At Home activities will ensure that musical learning continues throughout the week.

There is such a great benefit for your child to participate in these classes prior to formal music classes. Anna Cannon is able to provide the transition through the various age groups until your child is ready to learn a musical instrument such as piano, keyboard, flute or guitar.
